Elizabeth Lara Aguila,
MSW Candidate
About Me
Hi, my name is Elizabeth Lara Aguila (she/her/ella). I am a Mexican-American woman currently living on the unceded ancestral lands of Coast Salish peoples who still steward the land today.
As an MSW candidate at the University of Washington, I deeply believe in the power of holistic and multidimensional approaches to care and well-being. My background in public health and social services fuels my commitment to meeting clients where they are in their unique healing journeys and advocating for systemic change that promotes accessible and equitable mental health care.
In my role, I am dedicated to empowering individuals and serving my community by providing client-centered therapy. I believe in the power of vulnerability, trust, and connection to facilitate healing and liberation. I prioritize honoring individual stories and creating space for growth and healing by providing culturally responsive care. I recognize and believe in the interconnectedness of physical, social, environmental, and emotional health.
Thank you for considering me to walk alongside you on this journey towards empowerment and healing.
