About Me

Currently enrolled in the online Counselor Education program at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado, I am on track to earn my Masters in Counseling by spring 2025. My education emphasizes exploration of counseling theories and orientations tailored to individual preferences rather than imposing rigid philosophies. Dedicated to expanding my therapeutic toolkit, I am actively pursuing certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, with plans to further certify in EMDR and Ego State Therapy.

Additionally, I am particularly attuned to the needs of the LGBTQ+ community, drawing from my own experiences and knowledge of Queer Theory, while my personal journey with overcoming ADHD-related challenges enhances my understanding and support for individuals facing similar
obstacles.

In my therapeutic practice, I deeply value human resilience and adaptability, recognizing the influence of our evolutionary past on our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I appreciate the significance of past experiences in shaping our present realities, and I work collaboratively with clients to identify and address patterns that may be hindering their well-being. My approach prioritizes self-discovery and growth, empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and insight.
