April Mazur is a dedicated and compassionate Master’s level intern working towards her degree in Social Work at the University of Washington. She is currently completing her internship at New Perceptions Counseling, where she is under the guidance of licensed professionals. April employs a personalized approach to therapy, collaborating with clients to uncover creative and sustainable solutions, all while demonstrating empathy and a profound respect for each individual’s unique journey.

April is committed to continuous professional development, regularly engaging in supervision, workshops, and training opportunities to enhance her clinical skills and stay informed of the latest research and best practices in social work and mental health counseling. Her dedication to growth ensures that she provides the highest quality of care to her clients.

Her diverse background includes work in public defense in Portland, OR, and her current role as a Social Worker for a Legal Aid program in Seattle, WA. These experiences have deepened her understanding of advocacy and support within both the legal and social work fields, enriching her therapeutic practice.

Outside of her professional life, April enjoys exploring hiking trails, playing pinball, and getting lost in a good book.
